It looks like Waco was hit once again which is the first one since 1953 CLICK HERE FOR INFO ON 1953 TWISTER (http://members.aol.com/gilcopub/tbit-10.html) and this one struck about a couple of blocks away from our house here at about 12:30 April 28 and then last night or early this morning (after midnight) we were hit again with a crazy storm Click Here To See Photos (http://www.wacotrib.com/news/content/news/slideshows/050606tornado/index.html) ---> CLICK HERE TO SEE VIDEO (http://www.wacotrib.com/news/mplayer/m/3398)
I got out of work at 1:00 am and SMART ME got caught in the middle of it. It was heavy rain and then PITCH BLACK and then I noticed no cars on the street: there was a line of cars and trucks following me probably thinking: This guy knows what he's doing and he's driving so we're RIGHT behind him... so then I came across a parking full of cars and got into it with that line behind me and 5 minutes later hail almost the size of golf balls hit... I mean it was freaky... I was praying for God to calm the storm and then 30 minutes later the hail stopped and the rain was still heavy so I decided to try my luck and 30 minutes later I was home... on the way home though, it was interesting... on Franklin Ave here in Waco, I almost hit a bathtub (which was in the middle of the street) but I was going 30 MPH so it was no problem avoiding it and then trees all over the place and the I had to get under a bridge (77 and Orchard lane near the place that the twister hit last week) which was flooded with knee-deep water and I hit the water going 30 MPH and the car was literally floating across the water and then stopped in the middle and somehow got out going 10 MPH and then on Kendall Lane, a tree fell and blocked most of the street, but I got by and then I got home to a neighborhood with no electricity whatsoever... trust me, there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME.... I was finally breathing again when I got home and today I was supposed to work today but nothing is working where I work so too bad for them.
Have y'all ever been in a situation like this or similar before? I've heard of stuff like this, but never actually experienced it like this before, but I thank God I got out of it ok. No matter what comes in life, put your trust in God...
