I remember that as a child (I don\'t remember how old I was), I was walking outside in front of my house. I had no one with me and (if I remember correctly) I was playing with a water gun. I saw a stray dog coming my way from across the street. Knowing me then, I really loved dogs a lot, so I was calling the dog to me. The dog was coming. It stopped a few feet away from me and it started to growl at me. I began to panic, but never called for help. The dog slowly came closer to me, pinning me on the fence. I was crying, having the feeling it wants to hurt me. It began barking at me as I began to cry. Then, this one truck comes by and a man quickly gets out and darts the dog. He then carried the dog in the truck and came back to me and spoke with me. I remember him asking me if I was home alone. I replied that my family where in the house. Now, him being curious, he asked for my parents and asked them if they knew about what just happened. Being shocked, they both answered no. Then he asked my parents if we know who has this phoine number. It was ours. So who called?

God saved me back then and continues to save me even now. How did God save you before?

man...thats a awesome story...wow..your really lucky...i dunno how i was saved because i never was in a life/death situation. but if i ever am..i know that god will save me...he loves us all..

well i have more than one, but the best 2 are:

when i was born, i was allergic to everything, and i was real sick, for the first 4 years of my life, i had blisters and rashes, and was confined to the bed a lot and i was in n out the hospital, then one day, this lady came over and so did a bunch of other ppl, and they put a white tank top on me and began to pray, i was completly healed,

my second one was my most recent one, i was drivin home oneday from a friends house, and i was going pretty fast and it was snowy outside, it was the weekend after newyears, and i got in this real bad car crash, and amazingly even tough my car was totalled, i walked out with out a scratch, only God saved me like that, it was nothing short of a miracle since i was going very fast in the 3 didgets.

When I was about 10-11 years old, I wanted to learn to swim by myself and I left without being supervised. God saved me because His man was in the nearby and he rescued me.

I also had a car accident in 2000 when my father\'s poor Dacia was hit on a highway by a guy who had absolutely no brakes. He (the Lord) allowed the car to roll and go on an adjacent hole (santz) instead of being projected on the opposite-sense !
No scratches !!! I felt so strange, like in movies, when I saw those people trying to put back the car, in the normal position!

His gratefulness certainly shouldn\'t be confused with the usual good luck.

WOW! You\'re not the only person I heard about coming out of this kinda mess. I was just stating in another thread about how we should drive faster than our guardian angel can fly and that a person was speeding on a high way, lost control, and crashed into a stopped truck. The car was completely messed up and the person got out with no broken bones and not even a scratch.

oops ...the only thing that i remember about me almost dying(well, my mom told me this) was when i was born me and my mom almost died but we werent christians back then...but neither of us could breath...it was i guess scary but i dont remember it(obviously)but i think that was the most serious ...lol ..watever:screwy:

when i lived in Chicago, i was a baby like a year old i think i was walking up stairs to the living room window. i wanted to see how far it was from the top, i got up on the window and grandma couldn\'t find me so she thought that i was up stairs and i awesome fell and my grandma grabed my leg and pulled me up.i was like the worst kid in my family,i was so bad i did the stupidest things that other kids don\'t,so ya that\'s my story

This past December I was diagnosed with cancer. After surgery, 3 rounds of chemotherapy, and by God's grace, I'm baaaaaack!! hahahahaaa! Life's gonna have to do a lot better than thAT to get rid of mE!!:box: :box: :box: :laf:

That's awesome you guys...this is a GOOOD thread. I've been fortunate and haven't gone through life-death experiences myself...but it's been in my famliy.

Back in Sept. of '96, my dad was paralyzed...and the doctor told him the only way he'll be able to watch his children grow up is in a wheelchair..so he prayed and said that if he had to live life like that, he wouldn't want to live it at all!....pretty sad....

Then the following sunday, there was CINA at church, and like 100 ppl came @ the hospital and prayed, and my dad just JUMPED out of the bed, and started running around the 4th level of the hospital...he even picked up the doctor and started jumping around with him. it was pretty funny, the main thing is that GOD healed him...it's not by our merits, but by God's grace. His love is enough!

yea... i got a story also to tell.....

two years ago, my sisters went to europe to spend the summer there while i stayed home.... not a bright idea.. it was very boring...
well.... my friend's parents were going on a trip to arizona, and they asked me to come along... well, the whole time while i was getting ready i had a strange feeling, but i didnt know why... and well..i had 2 more days to make my decision....
well, the following day was wednesday, i hung out with my mom and stuff, we talked bout what i needed for the trip and so on...
well, later that day, we had church service... and i prayed that if it were meant for me not to go, that some one would come sit by me in church.... well... i sat, and almost half the service time passed, when this family walked in...
i was like... ok... yea.. someone's actually gonna sit by me now.. i figured they would probably stay in the back....
well.. it turned out.. that this little girl like 8 yrs old... just came and sat by me, and just smiled... i was like ok God i guess im not going... so after church i told that family that i wasnt going with them anymore, and i also told my mom.. which kinda upset her, cuz she told me to go so i could have some fun for a change....

well.. i didnt go... and thursday, we get a call from one of their daughters, and she said that on their way to arizona, their car got struck by lightning.......

the family returned back home to houston a few days later, they were all ok

so just trust in God.... who knows what might happen next...

What really gets to me is when satan comes and tries you either like this (with near death/fear) or when he tries to tempt you into stupid things. The one thing I would confess is that I am being tempted into having a better life if only I try things in life that are against God's will. Yeah, I'm having it hard right now. Why do I believe it's worth it? Why do I want to live such a hard life? Well, because nothing in this life is worth living for. I rather live for Jesus, with Jesus, and through Jesus. That's what makes it worth it.

ok I have 2 stories. Here is my first story I was swimming in someone elses swimming pool and i was drowning and if my sister hasnt saved me i could be dead right now. My second story is I was in Detroit and I was having seizures and my mom told my dad to go upstairs to look if a robber came because I was hitting the wall cuz i had siezures so my dad went and said there was none and then my mom saw me and called the ambalance and i got rushed to the hospital so now im alive.

Well, God saved my life a lot of times.

I can remember 4 times off the top of my head.

I was very sick when i was a baby, for a long period of time (i think almost a year). but God healed me.

I almost drowned when i was 5. and God sent help thru my brother.

Dec. 26, 2002. i was going to Portland w/ my 2 brothers and 2 sisters. we were in the mountains, and there was a light snow. All of a sudden, some block of snow/ice was in the road and our car started spinning all over the freeway/highway. we were spinning toward the edge of the road (a small prapastie) however we hit a pick-up truck's bumper and went spinning back to the middle divider, where we stopped. the truck's bumper was only slightly scratched. the car was hit, but all of us were safe.

Feb. 14, 2003. Me again w/ 2 bros and 2 sisters. on our way to AZ. we were in Palm Springs, and the wind was so strong that it blew us into the left lane, but a pickup truck was there so my sister (the driver) swerved to the right but another car was there. all of a sudden we were spinning again. only this time it was scary b/c there were 4 lanes, it was dark, you could see the headlights of the other cars at about 20 ft. away, and it was going by really SLOW it seemed. i remember praying. we ended up miraculously by the middle divider, again. the only thing hurt was the car. And to prove that God was really watching over us, a car stops, and it was a MECHANIC!!!!!!!! he looked at our car, told us where the nearest stop was, told us how fast we should go, etc... and then checked to make sure we're okay and offered a cell phone. but we were all okay.

none of us suffered a scratch!!!!!!!!!!

I know how God saved me, from a car accident on Dec. 9, 2002 I was the one in the back of the car we were going around 120MPH and we lost it at a turn, the car went in a skid slowing down to around 90MPH and then hit the wall 3 times.

All I can say that God saved me and my two bros.
