Raveled questions.
“Does anyone know what love can cost?”
It'll take you so high then leave you lost.
“Is it a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
“Can anyone stop the hands of time?”
To correct the mistakes made from the heart.
“Is it a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
Does anyone know the pain of feeling lost?
A feeling of despair and condemnation.
“Is it a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
Can anyone stop the hurt from inside?
The hurt that blames and cries.
“Is it a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
Does anyone know if the road to our hearts will always stay true?
The heart will be broken and it will hurt;
But,
Can it bear all the pain, and remain strong and true?
“Is it a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
Can anyone tell me if Forever is forever true?
OR
“Is it JUST a mystery,
that runs too deep
for such a simple heart?”
Hope it made some sense..
I wrote some of this poem, but it is not originally mine, I took about 2 stanzas, and background idea from a song. But guys I do need your feedback! I know that I still need to work more on it, and would appreciate corrections and ideas given. Thanks! God Bless!
