This is truly beautiful guys...again anonymous author with a deeply touching message. maybe you'll shed a tear or two? :)
Memories of youth flood me with pain
As I realize the nightmares again and again
Of a man who would come in late at night
With beer on his breath adn ready to fight
He used to hit mom until I came along
and then he hit me, and man, he was strong
I remember the nights I shivered and cried
and longed for the day when he'd finally die
But, night after night, he'd always come home
I praye for the day that he'd leave us alone.
Then one day, as my father came in
I cried out "Dear Lord, Not me again!"
But then I heard him call out my name
With my head held low, I prepared for the pain.
I walk toward the man that I feared.
But I noticed a difference as I walked nearer
Tears were streaming down his tired face
My hands just trembled, and my heart just raced
He said in a voice that I never had heard
"Look hear son, this is God's Word."
I looked at the Bible he held in his hands
I raised my eyes toward the Promised Land
I said to the Lord, "thank you Dear God!
For saving this Tramp whom on my heat had trod."
We didnt have money, and we hadn't had love,
But now we had a gift from above.
As I prayed those prayers on a pillow so damp
The Lord said "My Child, I'll make him a Noble Tramp!"
We still haven't much money, but we are not poor
For a Noble Tramp always finds more
He looks up to heaven with the faith of a child
And treats the whole world with love meek and mild
God's love is forever, on my heart stamped,
And I thank the Lord for that Noble Tramp.
God's love is amazing, isn't it?
