Both the youth and the Big conventions r in Ptown in 2005, and Portland has had one youth convention , Az has had one, however portland has had a few more big conventions :)

we r gonna have as many as we friggen want lol no we got 2 youth conventions one for each side east side and west side, then the big one so 3 major conventions every year, its a great way to get people together from all the corners of the states and canada to meet eachother and worship God, i wouldnt mind if they had mor eof these major events, because the more events, the more united we can become nationally :)

Just to clarify, cause it looks like some of you have misinformation.

The West Coast Youth Confrence will be in Portland the weekend of July fourth, as rebecca said; the larger all-ages all-states convention will be in Portland as well. Asa sa picat. A little more work for us to organize, and a lot more fun for all of you. God bless! It's going to be awesome.

im excited...when it was here in seattle i went..but i just skipped most of it and wandered around the city..which was stupid on my behalf because i could do that anytime, but there wont be a convention every time i go to Seattle..so i will never forgive myself for that lol..i dont feel THAT guilty about it but i still feel bad!

Its not a weekend, but its the weekend of July 4th, if that makes sense. The 'conference', (the board has decided to change the name from 'convention' to 'conference'), is in Portland, Oregon on July 1, 2 and 3rd. The 4th of July will be a park day or whatever. I'm pretty sure that a lot of stuff will be going on. For example, I'm pretty sure that there will be people playing volleyball, soccer, hang out with other people, so if you want to come to the park, I'm pretty sure you'll find something to do.

Oh I want to come...but I want to know do you have something planned for the evening (like seeing fireworks, since it's 4th of july) but I also have to see what day is cheaper to fly out. With the gas being so expensive tickets are so expensive

Hey all! Just wanted to post this: we have a website started with the basic information you need regarding the West Coast Youth Conference in Portland, OR!! Once again, the dates are July 1-3 (officially). This includes a Friday night service, or "get-to-know-each-other" party thing, formerly known as last years "Ice Breaker", which will be fun!! And on the 4th, we will have a park day and what not, as always! So technically, the dates are July 1-4, 2005. ;) go to www.wcryc.com for the hotel info and so on. God bless!! Also, we will not be making any special deals with the hotels, so it's a on-your-own kind of thing..so mentioning the youth conference won't do anything regarding discounts...good luck!
