ah yes....lol i know the feeling....of time passing by you without realizing it and all of a sudden you are somewhere else lol. YIKES! it freaks me out when it happens....but its usually because im deep in thought. its funny how your body automatically knows where its going....just like a dog knows how to find its way home....your body somehow does also..when ur not payin attention lol... a lot of times though....i mean to go to one place..and end up somewhere else without me realizing it..so i gotta turn around....im a wacko. but hey...i can't help it if my head needs some deep conversation on its own :)

Im pretty sure your sub-conscious took over. Like when you first start driving, you pay attention to every little thing and are so aware of whats going on around you, but then when you've been driving for a while, its like you already know what to do...its implanted in your subconscious mind...if that makes sense. :scratch:

Wow i never knew these kind of things happen to people... ur driving then puff ur home? how would u know were ur going? lol i guess then u were only thinking about whatever u were thinking too much and u were paying too much attention in whatever u were thinking about then time just went zoom... or mayb u all just need :help: ;)

i believe you were awake, but at the same time you were deep in thoughts, and you didn't pay much attention to the road, etc. Sure, your mind knew where you had to go, but you were too busy thinking, and when you "woke up" from your thinking, you arrived home. somethin' like that me thinks.

I like how in these days everything has a name. ATTENTION DEFFICIENCY DISSORDER. In my days (yes back in the days) in Romania the teacher had the best method of correcting this "dissorder", they called it "zapacit" and the beats gets u far . :saint1:

And when it comes to driving its funny when some things like that happenes but hey i am sure that you are thinking and also paying attention just not conectrating on it.

but ya know... that happened to me last week.. i was driving back up to school from church.. and the road is just SO boring that i just zoned out.. and before i knew it i was at the exit for my school!! i was like wow.... were did the past hour go? hmm... interesting... i have no answer... :o

i dont think it has to do with ur subconscious.. ur actions just have become automatic, as in this case driving, to the entent that u can do it without having to think about it..

Oh yeah, I zone out frequently, like when I would take my grandpa places on the way back instead of going to his house I would always end up at my house without thinking. :wall:

And who pays attention to street names, highways etc... not me :D

i watch my rear view mirror alot......and sometimes..i get so caught up with whats happening behind me...that i wonder...how in the world did i not get into an accident and how was i able to concentrate so much on my rear view and yet still drive safe enuf and not get anyone to honk at me..
