WOW I can't believe no one has said Casting Crowns yet! Actually they are the first band that I can actually say has a really great cd and not just one song on it is good...songs 1-8 I absolutely love bc they are each catchy and have their own message and a different feel to them. I really think I out-played that cd in my car though. Right now I really like Jeremy Camp's "I'll take you back" even though he's not a "band." :ajam:

I think Hillsong United DEFINITELY and Ever Stays Red is good, and my favorite, Jars of Clay...and if you like Jars of Clay, check out Caedmon's Call "Share the Well" cd...it's REALLY good, and it has to do with their experience of going to India and dealing with the caste system...and due to the caste system, the Dalits, or the Untouchables, as they've historically been called, are just that, untouchable...and the Dalits they use these cups that are made out of Mud Clay so that they can break them after they drink out of them, because now that they have touched these cups, they are unclean and must be destroyed. Sorry... :topicoff: But...I just had to say that... :)

I'm basing it on the majority. The majority have heard of Swtichfoot and Mercy Me. The majority also being older generations, not just ours. And to the older generartions Switchfoot and Mercy me are more soothing to the ear. I highly doubt the older generation could get into the Emery and Underoath. It's too new for them. People who aren't from our generation tend to stray away from the new styles of music. Especially "indie/screamo/hardcore music."

i already have it.........its pretty cool...but i like the Taste Of Christmas cd way better. Only one christian band on that cd (Emery) but overall its awsome
